PINE & OAK RESTORATION

Working in a Grade 1* listed property, we worked to restore this previously carpeted pine, sanding the wood to remove signs or wear and damage and staining and finishing.

The original staircase was hand restored and stained to match the railing, including aging the stain to create a worn look.

The wood flooring was repaired and refinished throughout the ground and first floors adding to the high quality finish seen throughout the charming property.

AGED OAK INSTALLATION

Working in a period property in Chiddingfold, Surrey, we installed new oak timber to the master bedroom and dressing area.

The first step was addressing a significant hump in the floor, and carefully undercutting the skirting boards. We then created a stable base before installing this beautiful unfinished, undulating engineered oak floor.

Once in place, the floor was meticulously hand-sanded and finished with a matt smoked oak oil, resulting in a space that feels fresh and refined while still retaining an aged, characterful look that perfectly complements the period features of the house.

ANTIQUE OAK INSTALLATION

This iced-width reclaimed oak floor was carefully installed and hand-finished with a smoked oak impact oil, bringing out the deep grain and natural patina of the timber.

The boards were reclaimed from oak buildings aged between 150-300 years, sourced from the mountains of Transylvania. Worn by time and full of character, every mark, knot and imperfection tells part of its story.

A floor with a real history, now given a new life sitting perfectly at home in this old cottage.

UNDULATING ENGINEERED OAK

This engineered oak was hand finished to create gentle undulations between the boards, giving an aged, and worn appeal. We then stained it with a light oak and finished in a silk matt lacquer.

SOLID OAK HERRINGBONE, PUTNEY

Within this beautiful restoration of a Victorian home in Putney, we were tasked to install and hand-finish this light and modern solid oak herringbone throughout the ground floor and upstairs landing of the property.

The restoration project is still ongoing, but we look forward to seeing the rooms finished, in due course!
